QuickMIB is a remote meter read collection utility designed to aid in gathering meter reads from print devices in small to medium sized businesses. 

From an office managers standpoint, QuickMIB eliminates the need for them to collect test pages from every printer on their network. For a leasing company, QuickMIB can negate the need for the account manager to obtain the meter read information by having the end user email or fax the data to them. Not only will this save the account manager time by not having to repeatedly call or email to get the data, but the end user is not hassled with having to wander the office collecting this data and then typing it into an email or faxing it. It also eliminates transcription errors as an email would show up each month with all the meter read information in an easy to read HTML report.

QuickMIB is installed on a Microsoft Windows server or workstation (XP, 2000, 2003). It periodically scans all print devices on the end-users network, and at set intervals (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly) sends an email to up to four configurable email addresses with the meter read report. This data can also be printed, imported into Microsoft Excel and displayed in an HTML page. Details included in the report are:

	●	IP Address
	●	Manufacturer
	●	Model
	●	Multiple Page Counts
	●	Console lnformation

QuickMIB System Requirements  

	●	Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003
	●	A network running TCP/IP
	●	Power user rights or higher to install the program
	●	Networked print devices

Security Concerns: QuickMIB ONLY collects the above infomation from print devices on a network. It ONLY sends this infomation via email to the specified email addresses. No other information about the network is collected or transmitted in any way.
